Tinnitus Sound

Tinnitus Miracle

The tinnitus sound is usually thought of as a constant ringing in the ears. However there are many different types of sounds that are heard by different tinnitus sufferers. The tinnitus sound is not necessarily constant either as some people experience intermittent sounds as well. The sounds may also appear in one or both ears and at different volumes.

The various types of tinnitus sound include ringing, pulsing, thumping, hissing, staccato, white noise, whistling, humming, buzzing or beeping. The volume of these sounds depends not so much on the tinnitus but the noises in your environment. Hence tinnitus is usually worse at night time when you go to bed because of your quiet environment. The daytime noises such as traffic and people talking often serve to mask the tinnitus sound during the day.

Somebody with tinnitus may experience one of these sounds or they may experience a variety of these sounds at different times. The volume often changes in relation to stress which can also cause the sound to change pitch.

There can be many causes of the tinnitus sound ranging from prolonged exposure to loud noise or being in close proximity to a very loud noise source. Prolonged exposure might have come from regularly going to loud rock concerts or using loud machinery without ear protection. Sudden exposure to loud noise might come from hearing a gunshot or explosion in very close proximity to the ear.

The tinnitus sound might be the result of damage to the ear by noise exposure as just discussed or it may be a symptom of a more serious physical condition. Changes in blood pressure within the blood vessels in close proximity to the ears could be a cause for instance.

Other tinnitus sufferers claim that the tinnitus sound began after they had an ear or sinus infection. Prescription drugs often have side effects and have been known to cause tinnitus.
Whatever your exact tinnitus symptoms, you will agree that it is a very unpleasant and intrusive problem. In many cases the stress the symptoms cause just make the symptoms worse and can cause sleep disturbances.

However there are two highly effective methods for silencing those tinnitus sounds. One is the use of tinnitus maskers which are audio recordings that match the frequency of the tinnitus sounds in order to cancel them out. They sound like natural noises such as flowing water or waves that you can listen to when you go to bed. This won’t cure the problem but it does provide excellent relief from the tinnitus sound and allows restful sleep. You may even find that the decrease in stress from having better sleep helps alleviate the tinnitus symptoms.

However for a long term and natural solutions then I can highly recommend the Tinnitus Miracle which is a downloadable self help guide that has helped many thousands of people overcome their tinnitus.
